Balboa Park Engagement | Christy & Jason

I did this engagement shoot in the heart of San Diego which is Balboa Park. There are so many different types of settings to choose from. I thought this location would be perfect for such a energetic and active couple, especially with their dog Morgan. Balboa Park features Spanish-Renaissance style buildings that make it seem like it’s been around forever even though the park itself is only 100 years old. Christy and Jason brought some youth to liven up the place.

Christy and Jason have a really fun love story. They are both teachers and they met at the High School that they both worked at. Since then they have moved to separate high schools. These two LOVE sports. As you can tell in the images. You have to see the groom’s cake from the wedding. It was the cutest thing!

It’s almost impossible to live in San Diego and not be a Chargers fan. What better place than Balboa Park to show your Charger pride!

Such an incredible couple! I am so blessed to have been a part of your wedding day and your engagement. I am so excited for your lives together. Such a power couple!
